The Normandy landings

Many sites are to be visited in the Region, on the theme of the landing and the Battle of Normandy.

Starting with the British memorial and the America and Gold Beach museums of Ver sur mer, located 10 minutes walk from the cottages.

Not far from there are the center of Juno Beach, in Courseulles sur mer and the artificial port of Arromanches and the cinema 360 10 minutes by car.

Not to be missed either, the Caen Memorial and the American cemetery of Omaha Beach, in Colleville sur mer, respectively 30 and 40 minutes by car.

William's Normandy

Normandy is the country of William the Conqueror, who left many vestiges, such as the Men's Abbey, where his burial rests, the Ladies' Abbey, where Queen Matilde's rests, the Château de Caen and the Château de Falaise. Not to mention the famous Bayeux tapestry.
